Client Exports

All client exports are called with colon syntax: exports.vrs_permanentid:Fn(...).

GetMyPermanentId

Returns the local player’s permanent ID.

exports.vrs_permanentid:GetMyPermanentId()

Returns: number | nil

Read any online player’s permanent ID directly from their statebag, no export required.

Player(serverId).state.vrs_pid       -- number | nil
Player(serverId).state.vrs_pid_name  -- character name | nil

Statebags are the recommended path for HUDs, scoreboards, and nameplates. They replicate automatically and do not require a round-trip to the server.
